По твоей логике, там то же `Yet`, потому как первое слово "еще"

Да вот я тоже догадываюсь, что так и есть. Но это фигня какая-то так делать, так как вырвано из текста слова не переводят.

Суть в том, что сказать: " Yet strong, his youth was rapidly dissipating." можно, хоть это и не типично. Можно потому, что оно употребляется как связка между противопоставлением "сильный" и "рассеивается". Yet тут выступает как "несмотря на", "но", "хотя", и т.д.

В случае же с гимном, там значение "еще", поэтому я ума не приложу как в таком случае начать с Yet
